Yalda Hakim held a wide-ranging discussion with the former head of MI6, Sir Richard Moore.
She started off by asking him about the vetting procedure that allowed Peter Mandelson to become the UK’s ambassador to the US, despite his association with Jeffrey Epstein.
Sir Richard said the process was "intimate" and "thorough".
He went on to discuss other key global issues, including tension in the Middle East and the war in Ukraine.
