Reform UK is celebrating its highest profile defector yet from the Conservative Party: Former chancellor Nadhim Zahawi.
Announcing his move today, the former MP claimed "Britain is broken" and needs Nigel Farage as its Prime Minister.
But it’s quite a turnaround for Zahawi, who was sacked as Chancellor over a tax row, and in the past he said he’d be "frightened" to live in a country run by his new party leader.
And ITV News understands it comes after the Tories refused his request for a Peerage.
