While Ms Abbott yesterday confirmed she intended to run for Labour, Faiza Shaheen – who was blocked from standing in Chingford and Woodford Green – is very much out in the cold.
Channel 4 News has obtained a recording of the tense meeting in which Ms Shaheen was quizzed over past tweets – hours before she was formally barred from standing as a candidate.’
