Sky News has uncovered a huge increase in MPs asking questions of government departments in a single year, which sources say is wasting public money and diverting resources.
They also blame MPs using AI for the massive rise – from 49,125 in 2024 to 90,331 in 2025.
No MP has admitted to Sky to using AI to write questions.
