An explosion at the main oil terminal in Guinea’s capital has killed at least eight people and wounded dozens, according to officials.

The blast blew out windows of nearby buildings in the city of Conakry, and hundreds of people fled the area, eyewitnesses said. Schools have been closed and workers are urged to stay at home. The cause of the fire is not clear.
