'Extremely dangerous' crossbow attacker who shot police officer jailed

A man has been sentenced to nine years in prison, having admitted shooting a police officer with a crossbow during a standoff in Buckinghamshire last May.

Police in High Wycombe were called to reports Jason King stabbed his 60-year-old neighbour in the stomach.

The 54-year-old then targeted unarmed officers from his window, left his house and shot PC Curtis Foster in the leg.
