Rabbi Alex Goldberg has explained why he quit as chair of the FA’s Faith in Football network after the decision not to illuminate Wembley Stadium in the colours of the Israeli flag.
He told Sky News: "Ultimately I”ve resigned because the FA have failed."
He went on to say that "I think it’s OK to actually say" that last weekend’s attack on Israel by Hamas "is an atrocity and this is marked. I marked the French atrocity at the Batalcan when France played England."
