The leader of Reform UK, Nigel Farage, has insisted that he "never directly racially abused anybody".

They were his first comments since claims emerged that he used racist and antisemitic language towards people he was at school with.
Allegations in the Guardian claimed Mr Farage repeatedly made offensive remarks while a student at Dulwich college.
