A father has been found guilty of killing his premature son, who was being cared for in a special care baby unit.
Daniel Gunter, 27, inflicted “catastrophic injuries” to the head, neck, legs and jaw of two-week-old Brendon Staddon while on the ward at the Yeovil District Hospital, in Somerset.
The lead detective on the working on the case said: "The extent of the injuries were like nothing I’ve seen before."
