Father of Dunblane victim says events of that day will never leave him

It has been 30 years, but the mere mention of Dunblane still evokes a particular horror in those old enough to remember what happened on March 13, 1996.

That day, 16 children and their teacher were murdered when a gunman entered their primary school, targeting a P1 class in the gym hall.

This is still the deadliest mass shooting in UK history, and led to a ban on handguns in the UK.

On this 30th anniversary, Mick North, father of Sophie North, said he has tried to get his life back, but the events of that day will never leave him.
