Actress Prunella Scales has died at her London home aged 93.

She was best known for playing Sybil Fawlty in the acclaimed 1970s comedy series Fawlty Towers alongside John Cleese.
She enjoyed success in the 1960s sitcom Marriage Lines and in recent years appeared in Great Canal Journeys with her long-time husband Timothy West but her dementia meant she had to stop in 2020.
