Federal judge orders Elon Musk to pause shutdown of USAID

Now a federal judge has put a roadblock in the way of Elon Musk’s attempts to dismantle the US Agency for International Development.

The judge ordered Mr Musk’s department of government efficiency – known as Doge – to pause its shut down of the department, which was one of the first government agencies to be taken apart as part of the Trump administration’s efficiency drive.
