On tonight’s show, Cathy exclusively reveals that the BBC’s plan to make a drama looking at the rape and murder of Sarah Everard has been hit by an open letter from leading female screenwriters, who are furious that a man has been commissioned to write it.
Cathy looks at the row over who should have a say in telling the story of Everard’s death and speaks to writer and performer Kayleigh Jones.
She also sits down with Dame Caroline Dineage, chair of the Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee, to discuss the issue.
Away from that story, Cathy also will discuss the outspoken intervention from former PM Sir Tony Blair, who has warned Labour has "no coherent plan".
She’ll be interviewing energy minister Martin McCluskey about this – as well as the news that energy bills are set to rise by hundreds of pounds.
Plus, Cathy will be discussing the newly announced resident doctors’ strikes, with our health correspondent Ashish Joshi.
To discuss those stories and much more, Cathy will be joined on the sofa tonight by former security minister Admiral Lord West, and former education secretary Gillian Keegan.
