Ukraine’s sports minister has described the FIFA president Gianni Infantino as "infantile" and irresponsible after he suggested that Russia should be allowed to rejoin international football.

Infantino said the ban imposed after Russia’s invasion had "just created more frustration and hatred".
Matvii Bidnyi said more than 650 Ukrainian athletes and coaches had been killed by Russians since the full scale war began, including 100 footballers.
