Fire rips through buildings in Kharkiv after Russian drone attack

Firefighters and rescuers worked through the night to extinguish fires, and clear debris from a Russian drone attack on a petrol station in Kharkiv. Seven people, including three children, were killed in the attack in eastern Ukraine overnight on Friday into Saturday, the regional governor said.

Kharkiv has been under attack since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 and has been a frequent target of Russian assaults in recent weeks
