First group of Spanish passengers disembarks from Hantavirus-hit cruise ship

Spain began evacuating passengers from the hantavirus-hit cruise ship anchored near Tenerife on Sunday, with Spanish nationals the first taken ashore by boat in small groups.

They were transferred to the airport for a military flight to Madrid, where they will be quarantined despite showing no symptoms.
