Flash flood and hurricane warning for East Coast | National Hurricane Center

According to the National Weather Service, a tropical storm situated off the mid-Atlantic coast commenced delivering rainfall to certain areas of North Carolina on Friday, September 22.

This storm is expected to bring additional rainfall, accompanied by strong winds and storm surges, to portions of Virginia and Delaware.
