Focus groups: How is Keir Starmer faring with voters in Grimsby?

Despite winning by a landslide at last year’s General Election, Sir Keir Starmer is now fighting to stay ahead of Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party in the opinion polls.

At the same time he’s taken some of the toughest decisions of his premiership – cutting aid to boost defence, and in the last few days announcing cuts to benefits.

So what effect is all that having on voters thinking of switching to Reform UK? We brought together two focus groups in Grimsby to see what they had to say.
