Former Arsenal footballer Thomas Partey charged with rape and sexual assault

Former Arsenal footballer Thomas Partey has been charged with five counts of rape and one count of sexual assault.

It’s alleged the offences involve three women and took place between 2021 and 22, while he was an Arsenal player.

The Ghanaian international, whose contract at the Emirates ended on Monday, denies the charges.
