On Saturday, huge crowds gathered in the western Kenyan city of Kisumu to see the body of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
The region is home to his biggest supporter base. Security services are on high alert after five people died at earlier ceremonies in Nairobi. On Saturday, military officers, regular police, and air surveillance teams were present at the soccer stadium where thousands of mourners stayed overnight awaiting the ceremonies.
