The former Liberal Democrat leader Ming Campbell has died at the age of 84.
The peer – who was a former Olympic sprinter – served as the Lib Dems MP for North East Fife for almost three decades.
He became the party’s foreign affairs spokesman and was a leading critic of Tony Blair’s decision to back the US-led invasion of Iraq in 2003.
