Former Liverpool mayor and local politician charged with bribery and misconduct

Former Liverpool mayor Joe Anderson and local politician Derek Hatton have been charged with bribery and misconduct.

Their charges, which relate to council contracts, were revealed after a Merseyside Police investigation which focused on property developers.
