Former world snooker champion Graeme Dott has been jailed for seven years for sexually abusing two children, with a judge telling him his conduct bore “the classic hallmarks of grooming”.
The 49-year-old was sentenced at the High Court in Edinburgh on Tuesday after a jury convicted him last month of two charges of lewd, indecent and libidinous behaviour towards a girl and a boy.
Before passing sentence, Lord Harrower said both children had been vulnerable.
He told the court that Dott had rewarded them with treats and presented the abuse as part of a game.
