France’s Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu has resigned, less than a month since entering office.

Confirming the news, the Elysee Palace said President Emmanuel Macron had accepted the decision.

Lecornu was appointed by Macron to the post in early September, in a move to seek cross-party support from a deeply divided parliament.
