Freed January 6 rioter Stewart Rhodes says he was convicted 'in a show trial'

Stewart Rhodes, the founder of the so-called Oath Keepers, was sentenced to 18 years in prison for his part in the 6 January riots but is now a free man after being pardoned by Donald Trump.

Sky’s James Matthews caught up with him when he visited the US Capitol Building the day after his release.

Donald Trump has said the attacks on police officers during the riots in 2021 were "minor incidents", in a wide-ranging interview with Fox News overnight.
