French police clash with anti-austerity “Block Everything” protesters

French police have used teargas on anti-austerity demonstrators taking part in a nationwide day of action that’s been called the "Block Everything" protest. Demonstrators have tried to block roads in Paris and police have made dozens of arrests.

The movement sprung up online in May among right-wing groups, but it has since been taken over by the left and far-left.
