British foreign minister David Cameron said on Tuesday action to degrade Houthi military capabilities in Yemen would continue after the US and Britain carried out another round of strikes. The Houthis, who control the most populous parts of Yemen, have said their attacks against Red Sea shipping are in solidarity with Palestinians as Israel strikes Gaza. Cameron said he would be visiting the Middle East this week to push for a ‘humanitarian pause’ in the fighting in Gaza that would lead to a permanent ceasefire
