Disgruntled recyclers in Colombia have covered the ground of Bogota’s main square with 15 tons of plastic bottles and other items.

They’re demanding better working conditions and hoping to raise awareness of the value of their work.
The workers collect trash and sell it to local recycling plants, but say the price for the materials has fallen 51 per cent in a month.
They hope the protest will spur the government to raise prices and support better working conditions.
