Gaza: 34 killed as Israel ramp up attacks on Gaza City suburbs

Israeli planes and tanks have pounded the eastern and northern suburbs of Gaza City – ramping up the pressure on almost a million people still living there.

Medical sources say Israeli attacks have killed at least 34 Palestinians since dawn, including nine people seeking aid. Another eight have died due to famine and malnutrition.

Pressure is also growing on Israel’s government, with more protests last night demanding an end to the war.
