Gaza: 82 killed overnight

Officials in Gaza say 82 Palestinians were killed overnight – almost half of them while they were trying to access humanitarian aid from trucks or aid distribution hubs.

Dozens more people were killed in Israeli airstrikes across the territory.

Mediators hope that both Israel and Hamas will agree to a proposed 60 day ceasefire proposal – including the release of the remaining hostages.
