Gaza ceasefire: chaotic Hamas hostage release as Israel frees prisoners

Israel has released 110 Palestinians held in prison, after chaotic scenes surrounding the handover of Israeli and Thai captives who were freed earlier today in Gaza, surrounded by a surging crowd. (Subscribe: https://bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)

Israel said mediators had guaranteed that hostages would be granted safe passage in future.

The three Israelis have now been reunited with their families – whilst crowds in the occupied West Bank cheered as buses carrying freed Palestinians detainees arrived in the territory.
