Gaza ceasefire: Four Israeli hostages freed by Hamas in swap for 200 Palestinian prisoners

Four female Israeli soldiers are now being treated in hospital back in Israel – after they were released by Hamas under the Gaza ceasefire deal.

200 Palestinian prisoners were also freed from Israeli custody – with 70 of them being deported to neighbouring countries.

This is part of a ceasefire deal between the two sides. But Israel accused Hamas of reneging on the deal – after a female civilian hostage wasn’t released as planned.
