Gaza ceasefire talks fail as airstrike hits hospital

The latest round of talks in Cairo aimed at reviving the ceasefire in Gaza have broken up today without agreement.

Hamas is reported to be considering an Israeli proposal to get at least some of the hostages released.

Meanwhile in Gaza, health workers are struggling to cope after an Israeli airstrike hit the last fully functioning hospital in the north of the strip.
