Gaza has ‘worst case scenario of famine’

An international food security body has warned that the ‘worst case scenario of famine’ is now playing out in Gaza – pointing to widespread evidence of starvation and acute malnutrition.

Gaza’s health ministry said more than 60,000 Palestinians have now died in 21 months of war.

United Nations agencies say there’s an immediate need for humanitarian aid to flood into the territory, at scale and without restrictions.
