Gaza: two Al Jazeera journalists killed in airstrike

The Qatar-based broadcaster Al Jazeera says two of its journalists have been killed in Gaza. It named them as Ismail al-Ghoul and his camera operator, Rami al-Rifee, who were in the north of Gaza in the al-Shati camp reporting from near the house of the Hamas political chief Ismail Haniyeh, who had been killed by Israel hours earlier. The journalists were wearing press vests and Al Jazeera says their car was clearly marked as a press vehicle. Footage from the ground shows a white car completely destroyed. Authorities in Gaza say 165 Palestinian journalists have been killed since 7 October
