The controversial New York start-up’s app potentially allows would-be parents to review embryos for known disease genes, conditions like autism and ADHD, as well as traits like eye colour, height, and intelligence.
But the biggest problem with the pitch, say experts in human genetics, isn’t that the ethics are questionable, but the science.
