Georgian president calls for election re-run as way out of crisis

President Salome Zourabichvili, locked in a standoff with her own government, said the only way out of the crisis was a re-run of last month’s disputed parliamentary elections. ‘What is very important is we get a clear message, that the clear message is again non-recognition of the elections and support to the new elections because that is the political way out of this crisis,’ said Zourabichvili.
