German Chancellor: We cannot accept ‘Board of Peace’ in current form

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz rejected US President Trump’s Board of Peace in its current form but signalled openness to further talks. He was speaking alongside Italy’s PM Giorgia Meloni after German–Italian government consultations in Rome.
