German MP forced to leave Bundestag session for wearing 'Palestine' shirt | DW News

German MP Cansin Köktürk from the Left Party was made to leave a session in the Bundestag after refusing to change a shirt with “Palestine” written across the chest. Bundestag President Julia Klöckner of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) said Köktürk’s T-shirt violated house rules. She has previously drawn criticism for wearing the keffiyeh — a traditional Palestinian scarf — in the Bundestag.
