German authorities conducted nationwide searches of 54 locations across seven federal states connected to the Islamic Center of Hamburg (IZH) on Thursday morning, the Interior Ministry said. Authorities are examining whether it can be banned as they say it promotes an antisemitic and anti-Israel agenda. This comes as Berlin moves to stem a rash of antisemitism in Germany amid the Israel-Hamas war.
