Germany has received the first of nearly three dozen US-made F-35 stealth fighter jets it ordered four years ago. The aircraft are intended to replace the country’s aging Tornado fleet. But they also deepen Berlin’s reliance on American military technology at a time when European nations are seeking greater defense autonomy. #dwnews
