Pubs will be able to stay open two hours later than normal if England or Scotland make it to the semi-final or final of the Euros this summer.
Lord Sharpe said it gave him “particular pleasure” to pass a law that “allows people to get properly on the lash” as he announced an order which will allow pubs to stay open later during the Euros.
