As some of the world’s largest aid organisations find their supplies blocked, desperate Gazans have had to rely on the US and Israeli-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.

Its large scale distribution sites have seen deadly unrest. The United Nations says nearly 1,400 Gazans have been killed whilst seeking food since May – some 859 of them in the vicinity of GHF sites, with many deaths attributed to Israeli fire.
