Record numbers of giant jellyfish have been spotted around the British coast, according to a new survey.

The Marine Conservation Society says there’s been a 230% increase in sightings of the creatures – which go by the name dustbin lid or barrel jellyfish, or the frilly mouthed jellyfish.
They can weigh as much as 35kg and grow to a metre across.
