Government considers two-hour app time limit and curfews for children

Technology secretary, Peter Kyle has told Sky News he will make an announcement on "compulsive" screen time, as a survey shows teenagers are spending hours a day scrolling.

Social media limits are being planned by the government, who are considering a two hour cap per platform following meetings with current and former employees of tech companies.

Discussions are also in place for a potential night-time or school-time social media curfew.
