
Greenlandic politician Tillie Martinussen says people on the island "don’t trust Donald Trump" after he announced a security deal for Greenland between the US and Denmark.
Martinussen said she trusts the Danish and Greenlandic leaders though, and believes the agreement reached between the countries might be very similar to the original treaty signed in the 1950s.

Trump said the agreement meant the US would maintain a "large military presence" in Greenland, possibly ending his threats to annex the island. The Danish and Greenlandic prime ministers welcomed the deal and said it would be signed next week.
