A group of men have been convicted of "horrific" sex crimes against two teenage girls nearly a quarter of a century ago.
The seven men treated the two girls, who were just 13 when the abuse began, as "sex-slaves", befriending them and plying them with alcohol before raping and sexually abusing them, Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court heard.
Soon after they were expected to have sex “whenever and wherever” the defendants and other men wanted in filthy flats, on rancid mattresses, in cars, car parks, alleyways and disused warehouses.
The girls, named Girl A and Girl B in court to protect their identities, have been granted lifelong anonymity after the crimes in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, between 2001 and 2006.
