Growing number of domestic violence victims are taking their own lives

Between April 2022 to March 2023, there were 93 people who took their own lives following domestic abuse – a 29% rise compared to the previous year.

Chloe was secretly transformed at the hands of her former partner, a man her mother calls a "monster".

Chloe took her own life in February 2023.

Her mother Sharon is among those calling for tougher sentences for those convicted of coercive control.
