Hamas accepts proposed Gaza ceasefire deal including release of hostages

Hamas officials say they have accepted a proposed Gaza ceasefire deal –

which would include the release of half of the Israeli hostages who are still alive. Under the plan – put forward by negotiators from Egypt and Qatar – there would be an initial 60 day truce and talks towards a more permanent ceasefire. Israel has not yet given a response.
