But Hamas indicates it wants further negotiation on other points in the plan, as it did not reference disarmament.
Almost two years since Hamas attacked Israel on 7 October 2023, leaving almost 1,200 dead and 251 people captive, Israel’s assault on the Gaza Strip has killed at least 67,000 Palestinians and left much of the region destroyed.
